Unhappy valve to piston clearance

Hi all,

I m not sure if anybody can help, but i would like to know if at TDC there is clearance between the valves and the piston on a 4L au.

Mine has just swallowed one of the screws and part of the shaft from the throttle body butterfly.

It rattled like hell, then the rattle went away, now it has no comp on number 6 and the spark plug was crushed.

cheers

Rick

At best a bent valve, at worst a hole in the piston.
Most likely a bent valve though.
