Default superlows for my ed

Hey currently have king lows with standard shockies (not low enough for me)

i want superlows!!!!!!

Been reccomended for superlows that i need new shockies and a camber kit.

Im tryin to avoid the camber kit and new shockies i just want it lower, so i want to know who has superlows and hasnt changed shockies or fitted a camber kit. will it be any different than my king lows i already have in?

Cheers

Superlows will be lower than your current springs. You'll need a camber kit, and chances are you probably need one now or at least have your existing setup shimmed out.

You can live without new shocks but I wouldn't recommend it. Save up and do it properly instead of buggering around trying to do it for 200 bucks.

Where are you located? I am looking to swap my Whiteline superlows for some King lows + cash.

I ran King Super Low springs and standard shocks without a camber kit in my EL for over a year without problem. In fact it rode great, looked pretty good and still had plenty of clearance to be practical.

Yeah, but how about the massive negative camber on the front without the camber kit though... didnt get inside tyre wear???

Nope. There was a bit of negative camber, but not enough to wear the inside of the tyres out too quickly. That only became a problem when I installed a Pedders sports rider struts. The camber then became a big problem. All fixed now though

I lowered my EL on King Super Super Lows and standard monroe shocks, the ride height is not as low as it should be due to the shocks, and the ride handling is crap!!!(drove to queensland and back with 4 and 5 people)! I asked for the shortened shocks but got given standard as I didn't find out til well after they were installed! If u go superlows definately get shortened shocks as it will allow the car to fully lower and ensure better ride comfort. I suggest u buy the springs and shocks urself and then negotiate a price with a suspension specialist to install it! Just buying the springs and shocks from REPCO with a $150 discount still cost me the high $700 mark so expect to pay close to a grand all up! A camber kit is not essential just ensure u get a wheel alignment with the installation of the springs/shocks! Good Luck!

Another car?

What do you want? One excellent car or two mediocre.
