Default Melton Beautiful one day, murder the next

Another murder this arvo in lovely Melton. Guy stabbed to death after attacking another bloke with hammer. Geez, must be the fifth for the year!!!

I have lost count of how many homicides we have had in Melbourne this year, seems to be one every couple of days................

You reckon that's bad? Try a stint in anywhere around southwest Sydney - guaranteed murder on any given day. It truly is Australia's A$$hole.

I 'm thinking of running guided tours of my neighbourhood.
Drive by shootings here and here...gang rapes there, there and there... fire bombings, drug labs and illegal tobacco operations to the left.

I used to live in Melton MANY (17) years ago, before being dragged kicking and screaming to Qld. Although i do much prefer it up here now
Is melton really that bad now? It never seemed that bad when i was young, although there was serious potential...... I havnt been back in about 8 or something years.

Some $H!t on ACA tonight about banning semi auto handguns to stop crims using them. Because all criminals use registered guns :

Yes I think Melton has a huge way to go till it gets as bad as some areas around Sydney, such as Cabramatta etc

I've spent a fair bit of time up in melton and had no dramas....just full of hoons! (just ask Craig lol)

Fiancee's brother used to be in GD's in Blacktown (one of Sydney's busiest stations) ... and murder was/IS common there ... happens everyday ... along with the hundreds of calls for domestics everynight ... countless rapes ... thefts ... and god knows what else. At least he wasn't bored on shift.

I live in sunny Melton. The bloke who died was a bad egg.

Not all that bad, but you only hear about the bad things in the media.

Thinking about it, not many good things happen here either!

Blacktown and Campbelltown are the 2 areas I hear the most when listening to those online scanners.

Are you serious?

Seems like we live a fairly sheltered existence here in Adelaide. And that's fine by me.

Who knows? Maybe there's barrels and bin-bags lying around and even being filled as we speak? It's just that we take a while longer to find them over here. Add them all up and divide by 325 and we may be getting close!

South Australia has the reputation for the serial side which I guess some consider bad.. I am forever having people saying stuff about the 'bodies in the barrel' thing..... there has only been a few separate ones of those (from memory).

Crime is bad where ever you go, it is just the different levels and how often that changes.

Your right. I'm being a bit silly drumming this up.... (no pun intended)
But anyway I like Melton. It's the place I get to and know I'm not far from Melbourne.

One tried to build a fight to hammer home a point, but was then pricked and deflated, got all cut up over it.

Thats the funniest shit i have ever seen you say.

Perths not really that bad but where i live weve had about 3 bodies found in the past 2/3 years. But i think one of them was a homeless bloke that just died or something.

We are in a prime spot for dumping bodies which wont be found for years or ever so you cant really blame the buggers for puttin them in our backyards :P

Ahh Melton, one of the drug capitals of the Western suburbs...
Good for hoons, and some slightly easy women, not much else though.
