Default Escort indicator cancelling block / cancelling cam

G'day everyone.

Just a quick one; Does anyone know whether the indicator cancelling block can be completely removed from the steering column without being replaced?

I can't see why it would have any impact removing it, but just want to be certain.

Thank you!

Do you have m1 or 2

Do you want to remove the indicator stalk yes you can remove it without taking the steering wheel off, just need to take the shroud off the the column,

Hi mate.

What I meant is, can I permanently remove the cancelling cam? As in, take it off and not have it there at all.

Thank you.

In my exprience with MK2s there is no detrimental effect (apart from inidicators not cancelling), just remove the tension spring as well and make sure the top steering column bush is securely anchored.

Cheers

James
