Hi guys,
Due to the missus about to bring a little one into the world, looks like I'm going to have to start driving the XR8 to the train station to get to work. I'm not entirely thrilled about the prospect, but there isn't really any other choice. Now being a bit paranoid since I have had my last car broken into at a train station, I was thinking of getting an alarm installed, with glass shock protection and tilt sensor to cover all bases. I want it to interact with the central locking / computer and not need to override anything. Does anyone have any recommendations of which brands to look for, or to avoid? Also any installers in the western suburbs? I know there is tower audio in Melton, and a few autobarn's around. I've done a search and most of the threads are quite old, and I figure there may be new / better options available now. Cheer Brownie

Yeah I don't think an alarm will do much anyway, a theif will still attempt to smash/grab/vandalise no matter what.
