hey all,
am just after someone who would be willing to come with on tuesday and pull a T5 out of an ED. its in tullamarine...im in berwick...would go in my car, id pick up and drop off etc... i need someone who knows what they are doing please...as i have no idea and i really want this T5 finally.... will buy ya lunch or wateva... either let me know here....or pm me with details if u are real sure about it and want me to get u....thinking about heading out at about 10:30.....be behind all the peak. i think i covered all that i had to say.... cheers brenton

If I didnt have work I might have. I have helped out with manual convertions before but I'm also not confident enough to do it all on my own sorry mate

Yeh, I would like to also help. But work, and my own car is enough at the moment lol. I am looking for a T5 conversion in the near future also.
Its an easy job realy. Removing the box is easy, putting it back in is slightly harder. Have a jack ready to wheel the box out. tip to make your time easier, take the box off the bell housing, then jack the front of the engine up (tilt the engine backwards) so the starter motor can come off, then clutch/bell housing etc. Well, atleast thats how I think it goes hahah :s Efgiar / Supahstah are the people to talk to about this, he has done many many of T5 conversions.
