Default Question about intake manifold conversion on 2L pinto....

Hi,i have a mk2 1976 4dr escort sedan with a 2L pinto in it.I was just wanting to know if an intake manifold off a 1994 mazda 323 1.6L twin cam motor will bolt up to the pinto head????Maybe it can be another intake conversion???

I also have a twin cam head off the same motor i think the motor prefix is B6 or BP depends which one is 1.6 or 1.8 that model of mazda/laser cam out with those engine size options...

cheers Bryan

No the bolt/intake pattern are different, but you could cut the flange of the stock 2ltr manifold and mate it up to the B6/BP manifold runners with abit of ingenuity and a welder.
Then you would have a cheap injection system.

have you considered a inlet manifold from a ford sierra? will bolt straight up.

Another manifold i have seen used is the magna manifold. have to move the throttle body to the end though.
