Mine is the Gecko, called that because a mate said it reminded him of the gecko on the bridgestone ads. After that comment, every time he saw me he would ask how the gecko was going. It kind of stuck and I ended up calling it the gecko.

I think when the EB is fixed I'll call it 'The Phoenix'.
The Mk I Escort always gets called James, an English name and everytime I get in it when we're out I say "Home James!".

My car was named 'the possessed one' by friends because there was always something wrong with it but now it's been named 'the staller' because all it does is stall so yeah the car's stuck with that name for the moment :

the kids used to name our cars when they were younger, so we had Kermit (green), Snowy (white) Red Racer, Goldie...now my car is just Rob or Monty (Fairmont) & the XR hence the plates and the two cars

Well the wagon is reef green hence the name kermit. It has stuck and i dont think it will ever go away. If it doesnt start, (like it does alot), then the kids (who are usually with me) sit there and say come on kermit, it actually has an effect. But i dont like the name.

I used to have a black Alfa Romeo, I called her "La Strega Nera", which was as close to the Black B*tch as i could get with my crap-*** italian.
The XY variously gets called "The XY", "The 'Y", Or "Bruce" (even though its definitly a she... remember the "Le Tan" ads with the chick called Bruce? Ironically Australian?)

My rolla used to be called Racey (her number plate was RCY), and my friend named her Arsey... then I had to change number plates cos she'd gone past three months out of rego (NSW).

Now she is ZBA, Zorba (which I don't like at all, and I don't think she does either).

The Ford is the "POS will you stop dying on us crapbox " atm.

Friend was a taxi driver and the name of the cab was The Enterprise - it was a mighty mean XE.

I call mine Spew. It seemed to have caught on, as everyone calls my car Spew now.

It is an AU. The name rhymes and I never liked AU's until I owned one...

The g/f calls the XR the Big Kitty. Its black like her cats.

My favourite-est car of all, my white XC, was called White Trash or The Lawnmower as it spent quite a lot of time doing dougheys on peoples front lawns or being rallyed in my mates massive property.

Man I miss that car (my first v8).

The Letters on my Fiesta nuberplate are TEV - ### Therefore I began calling it "Big Tev" after the fat bloke who sells shower cleaner (yes I know his name starts with K).

Other than that, its either "The Fez" or "The Bitchmobile"

Before the Fiesta I had an EF Falcon that my cousins named "Brad" and an XG Ute that They named "Dennis". Supposedly they recieved said monikers because they allegedly looked like their respecive names would suit them.. hmmm
