165KW at the flywheel is the factory rating for all normal 5.0's between EB and early EL.

lose about 25% from the fly wheel and you should get a ball park figure at the rear wheels.
137rwkw sounds about right if not better than average.

25% is accepted as the normal drivetrain loss, but there are heaps of other factors that can effect a dyno reading. Ambiant air temp/intake air temp, how hard the car is strapped down, auto or manual (being a fairlane im assuming it has an auto)

To me, 137kW sounds a little bit high assuming its a stock engine, esspecially if the AFR is high.

some dynos read higher too so yeah it really is only "ball park" some dynos may only show like 110rwkw....what mods you got done??? if your air/fuel is high??? which way like 10:1 or like 13:1

165kW @ 4500rpm and 388Nm @ 3000rpm were the outputs of the NL Fairlane/DL LTD 5.0s.

Chassis dyno results should be taken for the grain of salt that they are, but 137rwkW is pretty normal for a proper, un-adjusted dyno run. Lots of (mainly Australian) dyno software seems to decrease the final result, and "increase" the drivetrain loss. Its just funny computer stuff that shouldn't happen, but whatever.

Basically, 300rwhp on an Aussie dyno = 320rwhp anywhere else.
