Hi Lynchie

AU s1 v8 Factory spec 17" Tickford wheels, 235 45 front, 255 45 rear.

I know the wheels are not so fancy and considered small these days but what the heck.

Good luck with the build up.
Try not to go too Commo with the style though

PS: before anyone gets upset, the LTD grille bits are plasti-dipped, not painted.

Hi Lynchie.

Nice looking Fairy you have there. I was just thinking how rare the Gold LWBs are, but then Nathan was the next to post with his gold one! Certainly do not see many of them on the road.

Here is my Liquid Silver AUII LTD. Also with a stroker engine - 342ci (Nathan beats me by 1 ci), Brembos from a TS50, Koni yellows and King Low springs.

Cheers and welcome to AFF.

The manual conversion wasn't really that hard, the main issue was getting a driveshaft made to the right length. Once that was made it went nicely. Made it feel a lot more lively then it felt auto, and I quietly think it's made it a little quicker too. Not by much, but enough.

Then I sold it, and now it gets around with a bent lower control arm, whole front end is destroyed, and only really gets used for burnouts. Kind of sad really.

Hmm Hmm and a LTD.

Not all LWBs are Fairlaines. Tell a P6 owner his car is a ZH Fairlane - I dare ya. Very different animals!

Sorry, not trying to sound harsh, but as you are the author of a AU LWB thread, I thought you may need some edumaction!

Love the thread - cannot believe it has taken so long to start it. Thanks Lynchie.

Don't stress Jack, it's all good.

No one is gonna hunt you down or anything, although Stu might if you confuse his car for a Fairlane again though
