Smile Air filter help...

Hello.

I have an EL Fairmont V8 and I want to put a pob filter in it. As i have read before, it is best to have it in a air box so it brings in cool air. Would it fit in a standard box? Can you get a better snorkel for more air rather than just the standard one. Cos it would be pointless puttin a pod filter in a standard box with a standard snorkel right?? Pleeeeeeeeeeeease help

ok, so I should get a better snorkel, and will that automatically make better airflow! So what sort of air filter should I get? Should I get a pod filter to fit the standard box?

On my EL V8 I've got a EL GT snorkel and a K&N panel filter. It works pretty well

The AU one is apparently better than the ELGT one.

The AU one doesn't fit properly on E-series V8s. It requires a fair bit of modification.

Mine fits fine. All that was needed was to pull it forward a bit and drill new holes in. Drill new hole in the bonnet and change the path of the rubber and it was sweet....
