Default Miners Vs Budget

What wil happen if the rescue workers get to Grant and Todd tomorrow night at 7.30 pm eastern time. Will the tv networks show the rescue or the budget?. I'm not sure but I would like to think the rescue would be shown.

Cheers John

Why would you bet on that?

I think it is a good question, Human Interest over Federal Budget.

I think they would show the mine rescue with small breakouts to the budget release.

I would not bet on it, we were talking about it over dinner tonight, my partner thought the budget my thoughts are to the miners. I think more people in australia are interested more in the miners and would catch up with the budget after. Ask yourself this question when was the last time you sat down and watch the budget handed down by the treasurer, me I listen to it every year but this rescue mission is a really big story.

Cheers John

How many people have received the Michael Jackson joke about the Tassie Mine thing on their mobiles?

Just curious.

I got it from 3 unrelated sources today alone

Doesn't take long for the jokes to come out.

Cheers,

I would like to see the budget. We have been inundated with Beconsfield mine. On saturday night tried to watch Swordfish but 1/3 of the screen was taking up permantently by when the next update will be. They have been saying within x amount of hours they will be free, now its y hours then z hours ect. Ifeel for them well and truly but its getting a bit to much. Plus the budget directly affects me not the mine.

Budget nothing new

Beaconsfield not quite so old

Close to election time is when you will have a budget that might help the workers.
