well the title explains the question.
My partner currently has use of a work car, an LW Sport TDCI. It has both cruise control and speed limiter. When the work car gets handed back later this year, we are after a new or near new diesel car. An LV MkII diesel manual is on the short list. (along with several other cars...) The partner has fallen for the speed limiter function in the LW. Does the LV Mk II have speed limiter too, or just cruise? Thanks. |

LV mk1 does not have one. Doubt mk2 has it? I have the auto however.

I have a LV MKII TDCi manual - what did you mean by 'speed limiter'?
It does have cruise control. Mick |

The LW has a speed limiting function as part of the cruise control which once set will not allow the vehicle to exceed the set speed.
To answer your question, no. The LW and later Mondeos are the only ones to have this. |

WildB is spot on.
The LW has 2 functions, you can set "cruise control" which we all understand. You take your foot off the accelerator and it maintains speed. Good for use on the open road. On "Speed Limiter", you set a speed but still drive the car using the accelerator pedal. The car won't go over the set speed. It is more for driving around town, where you have to vary speed constantly but don't want to go over the limit. I have it in my Peugeot too, but never use it. My partner loves it. Horses for courses. |
