Just make a thread in the sales yard section for what you are selling, then just add the ebay link down the bottom.

It also depends on what you are selling I would think.
This should be in Site Support

I would prefer that you copy as much description to the thread and have the link to ebay in that rather than just a simple link

Instead of posting a link to eBay just list your eBay number in your thread, its simple then for members here to paste the number on the eBay site, taking them straight to your item.
Here try this... I well priced Falcon: Item number: 220046888293 <--- Just put this number in the ebay search.

im only asking this as i honestly dont know.....
what exactly is wrong with posting an ebay link in a for sale thread?? ive done it a few times, and didnt know it was frowned upon i can understand it being a no no if someone signs up, makes a forsale thread and only posts the link..... but if the member has been around a while, makes a for sale thread with a description of the item, then the link........whats wrong with that? |

The aim is to utilise these forums as much as possible, also, some of the eBay links actually ruin the page formatting if the hyperlink option is not used.
We are looking at making a few changes to the for sale area over the next couple of days, this is one of them.

What are the other changes? Maybe a template which MUST be used in ALL threads started in the For Sale section? Well the car section anyway...

We are not an EBay service link centre, we are happy to provide a For Sale Forum for selling your personal goods, if you wish to have an Auction style Sale then take your goods straight to eBay and they well happily take a commission on sale.
Sell your goods here and one of your AFF mates will make good use of your no longer wanted goods.
