Default Tell me this...

Do you ever get home after a big night on the "amber truth serum" and the computer is on, and you are not ready to go to sleep so you check AFF and just want to comment everything? Whether it be silly or serious?

A few years ago, I was always a hell of an alco, and would go out on the various desobrietising liquids, when I got home I would always, without fail, spam a certain LAN party forum I was a part of at the time.

I served multiple bans, including about four permanent bans which were always lifted, but I did blow it in the end and am now permabanned good and proper :(

But when I did get banned, people had my back! :P http://valhalla.net.au/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=1876

I certainly came up with brilliant ideas in the day though! http://valhalla.net.au/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=2086

And some more of my quality drunken posts!
http://valhalla.net.au/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=6416
http://valhalla.net.au/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=7511

Please note: I doubt I'll stoop to the levels I did on that forum over here on AFF. It was a close knit community back then and I knew most of the people including admins/mods. I don't wanna push that kinda stuff over here on AFF

When I used to play Counter strike: Source I'd get rather intoxicated banning people left right and centre. I even banned everyone that was on the server for a month including myself lol.

Gee whiz Riksta hahahhaa.

I was just thinking, because usually I will be reading a thread and come across some one not making much sense and then check the posted time and it reads 3 or 4am lol.

Wulos don't worry I'm not trying to create a group of alcohol induced thread bashers haha

Not really, but maybe you should ask Flappist to start a thread asking the same question, but of course with a poll!

OK, its through the 20mb notepad file of #hungover irc channel logs for all my drunken antics, will see if I can dig up anything remotely interesting that was said intoxicated in IRC ;)

The old me still exists ;) I just don't tend to jump on the forums and PUI!

Well, I do tend to spout drunk crap on the net every now and then, but I tend to keep it away from AFF as it is a lot bigger community and I don't personally know most of you like I did on that other site.

But I'm always up for a party!

Spewing I don't have access to that forum's "bin" anymore, I know there's a bunch of my old posts which were deleted sitting in there, I got to rummage through them all a couple of years back when I was unbanned through a brief stage as an Admin at the actual LAN itself.

Yeah I've come online after getting on the turps and had a rant or ramble about whatever. Although cos I have an iPhone I often do it whilst drinking so this can be just as bad. Word of warning: any post after 5.30 on a Friday is DRUNK TALK. Friday rituals involve drinking at the local for me and my mates, and by 5.30 were pretty rowdy. You have been warned ;)

After I get home tonight I'll let you know ;)

Worst I ever managed was getting home at about 3am and decided it was a good idea to write half page novels for all of my replies, which were littered with spelling mistakes, punctuation errors and non nonsensical statements, which would have sufficed as an average post on streetcommodores or something but in this case it wasn't.

ROFL I love grandpa spec's new sig!!! Gold!

Disappointed I can't find much more of my previous drunken work and antics that was previously released into the wide open yonder, the stuff that's still in private domain will remain there.

I think we need an AFF drinking session with full net access to keep those who don't attend updated on the whole thing ;)

I remember back in the days of the old site, there were some cracking drunk threads.

My favourite drunk poster was Cobra (Eamon)

Well I'm stuck at uni tonight, anyone passing by Kelvin Grove feel free to drop in and feed me beer

Couldn't help myself Riksta, it was just pure, honest and awesome.

I am in full support of a sanctioned AFF drinking thread, however I suggest we hold it in the Dark Room and make the entry fee DM membership!

Something tells me the AFF admin won't sanction a drinking thread; I've posted quite a bit of drunk sillyness, which is why I switch off the phone or disable safari when I'm drinking. I don't want to irritate anyone, especially those who know me personally!!!
Naish.
