The 2000+ US Focus suspension is different to our 2005+ Focus, might be worth looking at Mazda 3 parts.

When I was looking around for my Koni's, I found they were generally cheaper in the US than anywhere else, but shipping bumped them over the cost of getting them elsewhere. Pay over AUD1000 and you're looking at paying customs fee's, etc on top of the purchase price.

Have a look here, they offer very good prices and their shipping fee's are very reasonable.

If you have an LR Focus, the early US Focus suspension parts should be compatible.

If you have an LS/T/V look at importing from the UK, especially from Demon Tweeks as Russ and I have.

It's the run out 04 Focus with 1800 timing belt engine..
Four wheel studs, drum rear brakes..
Full set of shocks $370 plus $200 freight..
Strange part is with springs freight isn't much more !!!
I import heaps via U.S .. 50 to 60 Lb is around $200..
Through USPS...
About the weight of an S480 Borg Warner turbo..

Yea Demon Tweaks maybe a little too Demon..
I want them for my daughter in laws car .. Just wanted better
slightly firmer suspension with less body roll..
The original shocks are leaking oil..Other than that there nothing wrong with 140,000 Klr car...
Going by that site ?? It's a Mk 1 model..

Yeah its definitely an LR Focus, aka MK1 Focus in the UK.

Ford Racing Performance Parts do a shock + spring combo for the Focus. But yeah, Koni is also great (speaking from experience) and Eibach springs / shocks are also a popular choice around here.

With the dollar so good at the moment, there are some real bargains to be had from the states.

I have this system on my car. AMAZING!

http://focus.c-f-m.com/outofstockeib...fordfocus.aspx

Bought it from the US. No fitment problems.

Great price from CFM at the moment. Almost half price and a good exchange rate
