Default What is the difference between Police XC hardtops and GT (GXL spec)

I have been trying to find out what the difference's between my XC NSW pursuit
hardtop and standard.
Eg I have a "tramp Rod" on the LHS only. with a thick tube type 9"
Close Ratio Toploader (useless on the street..)
Dual Filiment indercator globes with a Hazard flasher button.
I gather i have the GT type steering box as sooooo heavy
I have owned it for 12 years so far and no one has been able enlighten me.

Having purchased ex chase car XC 4 door straight from the auctions here in WA all I can tell you is there were no coupes in WA but have heard there was over east.
All the XC's here that were V8 (302 & 351) were white with GS bonnets and locks and GS grille.
Some 302's were manual, all 51's were FMX with dual exhaust and dual cut outs in the bumper bars. No 12 slotters, just steel rim with XC hubcaps. Some had air con (if they worked up north) and none had power steering. 51's also had 120 litre tanks.
They had the Hella hazard light switch, rubber mats, no carpet and bog standard Falcon dash with calibrated speedos with 2km/h incriments. Mine is a 220km/h speedo.
The 6 cylinder Falcons were just bog standard, with standard bonnets.

Manulas in the XC were the Single Rail Borg Warner Box, not a clsoe ratio like a top loader as such, but 1st gear was somewhere between the Wide and Close Ratio Top Loaders.

There was no GT in the XC, GXL was the top spec in Sedan. Police Cars were basic Falcons or Falcon 500. There was only one spec 351 available in the XC that was rated at 162 KW.
