Good old Armour All here. Its not as greasy as most tyre shines/blacks and the tyres still look good after a couple of washes without reaplying.

I don't mind the Armourall foam sprey. It works quite well.

Tried tyre black and it looks good but go for a drive and it looks crap or even worse than when you put it on. It is also a pain to deal with.
Mum uses the armor all foam spray as has hard wheels to clean saught of like the AUI Futura rims. I use the armor all in the normal bottle.

I use this Kitten tyre black stuff.. which comes in like a mini paint tin and you use a brush (either bristle or foam brush doesn't matter). It lasts WEEKS regardless of weather and looks awesome. Most of the aerosol tyre black's i've seen usually don't last 1 week, and if it is raining out, forget about it lasting 2 days.

Meguires Hot Shine, for me.. Great stuff, sprays on, lasts for a bit. Cheap, adjustable, nice and black, no wiping.

So Easy Wet look, the spray on stuff not the foam.
I use alot of tire shine, and ive found that this is the best for me. Great wet look for tires, last a decent amount of time (as long as your tire is scrubbed clean, and dry) , I also use alot of it under the bonnet. I also occasionally use Meguires Indurance Tire Black (awesome smelling stuff with its own little applicator) , its a lotion type , not a spray. It sometimes lasts a few weeks, but Ive found not as shiny as the So Easy wetlook. Prep'ing the tires makes a big difference. If you clean and dry them well, the tire black will work alot better. Weather also determines how long your tires will stay shiny and black.

I use meguiars tyre shine. The stuff you put on with a sponge. Costs about $30 but i wash my TS50 every sunday and I've still got 1/2 a bottle left after 18 months. Lasts about 3 weeks. Even more if theres no rain. Great stuff!!

Go to a detailer in your area guys and take a 2L coke bottle. Ask them to fill it up with their tyre shine (liquid silicone) it will outlast 90% of products on the market, looks better and the 2L should only cost you $5 - 10.
Spray it onto a meguiars app pad and wipe it over the tyres. No mess, no overspray. All these "spray" tyre shines you realise that when you spray it dots of silicone are landing everywhere all over your car. If you own a Black car you will know exactly what i mean.

I prefer the foams sprays. So Easy or Armourall.
I've even cut a ~17" diameter circular disc of that corrugated plastic that signwriters use to keep the overspray off the wheels, makes it nice and easy.

So Easy Wet Look..... the spray on, not the foam one is the best i've found. Last a fair while, even after a bit of rain.

Thanks guys. I didn't realise there were so many good tyre shine products to choose from! The silicon stuff sounds pretty good, I might try and bribe a car cleaning place.. I just love clean, black tyres!

I've been using the Michelin one lately as I want something that actually is good for my tyres which a lot of them aren't & actually dry your tyres out & make them go brown & crack. It doesn't sling & gives a nice dark matt look which I like as I hate shiny, greasy tyres but it doesn't last as long as some like the Megs Endurance one. If you use the Endurance get the one in the black bottle the purple gloop is awful Here's there website to see what i mean http://www.petroferm.com/michelin/tc.htm
