Default Crankcase breather hose

On the LR Focus, there is a breather hose that runs from the top of the crankcase to underneath the airbox to vent the crankcase.

Does anyone know the size of that hose? 13mm?16mm?19mm? Or how does a nincimpoop like me measure it? Is it the outside diameter or inside? Or something else??

Any help appreciated before I bugger something up!

(Yes, there are air intake plans afoot that I will share in a couple of weeks time)

I think its 1/2inch which would be 12.7mm.
Thats coming off a K&N instalation diagram of the tubing they use.. which fit well on my car..

Thanks Simon.

Sounds like roughly 13mm to me.
