rego from Vic to SA

my bad I know but whats the protocoul of buying a trade van in Vic and bringing to SA and registration?
Does it need Regency Park?

Yes it has to go to Regency Park for a numbers check as a minimum.

I've only done it with new cars unsure if there is any other inspection needed on a used car or van.

Be aware there are 2 inspection places at Regency Park.

I have done a few...if its registered just go to the counter pay the money get the plates and drive off...no inspections...IF ITS STILL REGISTERED.

I needed a numbers check.
Had it done at Lonsdale.
Was easy and people were nice enough. Hardest part was the long wait with nothing to eat close by :-)

Doesn't matter about rego, you still need to get the ID/numbers check. Unless you're meaning it doesn't need a full regency inspection, which would be correct then.

They also check minor things (during a Tier 2). Girl i worked with inherited her aunties car, and they made her rip the tint off before they'd pass it.

I bought one of my cars in VIC and it was 5 minutes checking the numbers and then it was all good (and then line up at the normal TransportSA office for plates)
