That's a good idea... I hope it pulls off a few more sales for them. I'd hate to see another car company leave these shores. Mitsubishi have been putting together a decent product.

If it works Mitubishi will continue to make cars and will continue to employ its staff. I do think their will be more cutbacks though. Its a win win situation unless it doesn't work and then they are both screwed so good on them for trying.

Desperate? Late last year they cancelled the traditional coffee and tea lady service. For those of you who never visited Mitsubishi's office in Tonsley Park, they used to have these ladies who would wheel around the offices big tea and coffee urns. It was always a relief to hear them ring the bell if you were stuck in a difficult meeting. It was a tradition left over from the Chrysler days which none of the other local car manufacturers offered. Now it is gone forever.

Recently I discovered that the plastic sleeves for holding the visitors passes are no longer available. They are cutting back on EVERYTHING!

Desperate times indeed.

tea lady service.

FF[/QUOTE]

I think with any business the days of the tea lady are gone (no saying that is a good thing) But from a business perspective & for the sake of return on investment for shareholders its not something thats affordable. Unless the tea lady voulanter's her time.
