Saw this on eBay. It is an AU two door. Bare shell, stripped down to nakedness. People are hunting down old X - Series coupes putting a 351, FMX, and 9 inch in. This would be a very unique coupe.

I was on pickles have a look at damaged cars when I found an AU3 forte. Its a 5.0. But in the pic hit has the T3 rear Bar, the TS50 boot lid badge, t3 side skirts, tickford badges and 1 T3 rim. I wonder if this is an actual T3, But labelled in Correctly. Car was located in perth. No interior shots and the front bar was gone. The twin tips were not the original T3 tips. Would make a great donor car as the damage looked only to be panel damage. The rear wing was missing too. Everything you need, well most of it was there.

the price of getting the glass fabricated isn't cheap, then the engineers certificate.. oddly enough the shell is probably the cheapest part of the conversion :(

agreed as i said in the other thread - the shell is the cheapest and easiest part, its the glass and rubbers and seals and interior bits that make it difficult (and as you said certificates) - i did concider doing it at one stage (not on my ute obviously : ) |

I told a few of the guys down at Melbourne what I am thinking of doing. All I will confirm is that it will have an Aston Martin V12.
Doing the project with a great mate of mine and he is on here everynow and then, wilsonnw. Will put up some pics soon.

It will happen but not in the immediate future. I have a friend in Canberra who imports AM and Jaguar V12 engines, modifies them and put them into any car (Jags 99% of the time).

Isn't the Aston Martin V12 an expensive engine? Anything Aston Martin sounds expensive.
