Default What Is This

Hi There

me and some m8's were looking at the engine, i saw this thing which i dont know what it is and i turned it, and my m8 tolded me its the mixture control for lean - rich

is this so, and what is the normal setting as there is no indication of postion on the thing

that is the TPS - Throttle Position Control. i.e. how open or closed is the butterfly in the throttle body.

You need to measure the voltage coming from it, should be 0.7V at closed throttle and max of 4.5V at full throttle.

I think its an air opening to allow air in and out of the end chamber in the ISC cylinder... so it doesnt create a vacuum when it opens/closes...

An idle air adjustment is behind that cap I think. It's there so yhat people like ourselves don't f%^k with it.
