Default Christmas Light Cruise - Friday December 19

Its that time of year when people try to outdo the Griswalds and deck their homes out with crazy Christmas lights and displays, and there's nothing better than cruising around and having a good sticky-beak!

We'll meet first before heading off at around 8.30pm to visit a number of houses. Looking to finish around 10.30pm or so.

If you'd like to join us, can you please put your name on the list below, as well as which side of town you're on - this will help us to determine which area to focus our cruise in.

1) Richard & Nicole - Southside

I'm interested as well. But it I can only do the Southside as it will be too late for Connor. So if your starting southside, count me in.

Ok people it looks like Southside gets the vote - sorry Northsiders!

The plan is to meet at Lanyon McDonalds at 8pm and we'll look to head off shortly after. Nic and I are heading out tonight to check some houses out so we'll have a full itinerary ready for Friday night.

I don't have any CB's. Someone else has them, so I'll just follow the pack.

Thanks to Richard and Nic for organsing. Was a good cruise, if not a little cold for some. Great turnout too. 10+ cars and a lot more bodies. Good to see.

I expect to see photo's Glenn.

I'm sure you've heard it before Chris, but your lights on your car are very blinding. I don't know how they can be legal, especially when your driving around with your lower driving lights on as well. It generates so much light that I had to lower by rear view mirror to avoid the glare. Are they actually legal?

Have only had one complaint before. They're are aimed down extra low. I don't get on comers flashing me or anything.

I don't normally have the foggies on, as they do cause a bit of glare, I didn't relise I had them on initially, I turned them off later that night. I did some elecy work over the past weekm so may have bumped that switch on.

Boys in blue have never had a problem with them, and I've been through a rego/defect check with them.
