Default 100 cell cats

hi,im not sure if this is where too put this,but does anyone know if 100 cell cats are the same lenght as standard ba xr8 cats? cheers jas

The cell description means nothing about external dimensions. It relates to the amount of holes or cells per square inch.

200cpsi is the minimum legal amount for a road car to maintain emission standards.

Cell count does not determine emission compliance- passing an emissions test does. I mate of mine has an Integra with a 100 cell cat under the back seat and he managed to pass.

Why do you want one the same length of the factory cats? Just get some pipe welded on when they're fitted.

hi,sorry guys,just ment if the lengths are the same,i bought a 2nd hand system for my ba xr8 which had 100 cell cats and wanted too know if they bolt up ths same.
