Default Man leads police on wild 4WD farm chase

A MAN driving a stolen four-wheel-drive fire truck led police on a spectacular off-road chase smashing through 20 fences before the vehicle rolled over.

Another case of some scum not giving a damn about anyone else. Like he was going to get away.
All those fences, what a job to fix, having done a little bit myself, it's hard work.
Trouble is will he be made to pay restitution. And if so how does he pay it when he's probably some oxygen thief.
Go straight to gaol.

He should be made to go and fix all of the fences & explain to the farmers why he did it, then spend the next few years washing the fire brigades vehicles.

He may think twice about doing all of the damage again if he knows he will have to fix it.

why wouldnt half of the people that do something dumb want to get away from the cops!

Pretty normal human instinct if you asked me.

I dont agree with penalties getting tougher and tougher, it causes more people to run, as they dont want to lose their licence (as may lose job/ house/etc), they think its worth it to try to get away. And I think it is too...

The cops like to say "following at a distance" instead of chasing these days, yeah right! Put them in jail too. As if this guy just passed 2 b doubles then killed a bike rider and the cop car also couldnt help but crash into him too makes sense at the same time! He was right up his tail and the bloke would have been freaking out. Nice one killer cops, your fault! And the judge doesnt even mention that...

If the cops couldnt avoid crashing into the bad bloke, you think they could have avoided the motorbike? They are lucky it wasnt them that did the killing first hand.

He should be made to repair all the fences.....but that won't happen.
Pretty good advertisement for Australia though
