ok, this is not a "what mods can i do to my car thread"
my dad has given me my stepmums old EBII for a firsty and im looking at what i can do with it with $700 bucks ive got to spend. problems= *needs new head gasket (what are good prices??) * needs service * needs practically new interior (wreckers good for that) * needs lots of paint touch-ups (not worried about at the moment) * its an auto (not going to bother converting though) * needs uni joints on driveshaft replaced (rattling)(good prices??) so what would you suggest i spend my money on? i realise i cant do everything i want to on it but was wondering what my best options are? cheers glenn.

get a gasket set off ebay, about 70-80 bucks, get the head decked too.
Interior, you should keep an eye on the 4 sale section of the forums, they are allways coming up in there. Service it yourself, new oil's, coolant, filters, hoses and belts etc. For the tailshaft just go to the wreckers and find one with good unis, about $30. Good luck with it. |
