Interesting to see the LTD has got back up there again...

Wonder if thats just because alot of dealerships have put the new MARK II on as a demos?

It's obvious why Ford don't go overboard with the Fairlane. Although they have sold less than Holden, the Statesman and Caprice figures and pretty damn average as well. Looks like the market is changing and the demand for LWB cars are slowing.

Territory is definety Fords rising star.

At least it's good news that for the fourth consecutive month FPV has beaten HSV.
Congratulations to Ford and FPV .

Agreed and considering HSV now has that great LS2, the result is even more surprising. Is it possible that the 285kW LS1 was for most HSV buyers simply 'good enough'? Great result for FPV regardless.

Out of 133 Typhoon's released before a hold was put on them, only 35 took up the option of a courtesy car,the rest had no issue's at all as they were not going to thrash their cars anyway.

Thats a cheap shot, there was definitely an issue with the clutch, its been admitted and addressed by ford, it's in the past; lets move on.

You have misunderstood me,what i said was in regards to the ones that did not bother to take up the offer of courtesy cars, they are the ones that had no issue to get a replacement cars.Of course there was an issue with the clutch as Ford have admitted and rectified it.
Cheers John

But since F6 is now back it may not happen again for HSV for a while.

I believe FPV sold 97 SWB sedans vs about 115 for HSV in April.

Rick honestly without having a go at you this question was asked back in January and the same answer was given. SWB FPV's outsold HSV SWB sedans since December so those 35 cars, of which some were already registered as demos, would not have had any major impact. And if they did it would have been up until January only.

Why is it so hard to believe that FPV is outselling HSV?

It would be interesting to see how Falcon wagon sales are being affected by the Territory.

I know quite a few businesses (including ours) who are now purchasing RWD Territory's over the Falcon wagon.
