Thumbs up Braded brake hoses

I just ordered a set of front braded brake hoses or Matthew this morning and they are already delivered to my desk at work (in Sydney)! Great service mate and thanks again.

Cheers Greg

Rather then start a new thread I thought I'd add my thanks & recommendation here.

I picked up a set of braided lines, rotors, fluid & a few other bits & pieces yesterday & would like to say they're a pleasure to deal with great service, advice & an excellent price to boot, I couldn't be happier & will be back in soon for my next set of pads.

Thanks again.

I'll be looking for braided hoses for the front of the BFGT for the 4 spot BREMBOS.

What $$ are we looking at and are they similar to the OEM ones fitted up by FORD ???

I put mine on today & they make a huge difference to the pedal feel, I'd recommend them to anyone who enjoys there driving. I'm surprised the GT doesn't have them ESP the T-series did on the PBRs & Brembos.

Nope, only B series that had them was the BA GTP and BA SP.

The BF's with Brembos have the "low expansion" rubber hoses. Ford/ FPV reckon you get the same performance at a reduced cost to the consumer.

Company speek for "cost cutting".................

I;ll be getting the front set soon methinks.

Have to agree here with MRJUCY. I had my XR8 brakes upgraded last Thursday by RBS which included braided lines and the pedal now feels soooo much better. Certainly inspires more confidence when braking.

G'day Matt. Keep going with the good relations and you will get plenty of feedback/praise. : What would a set of braided hoses be worth for my 03, BA? I was inquiring because of the reported problems with the back hoses failing and my car aint going back to a dealer. Also, do you think it worth while fitting slots to the rear? I already have them on the front. Cheers - Eric

The rear slotted rotors will be of benefit no doubt it's just you may not notice it in your 50km speed area's.Does the car have traction control or not and is it a sedan with std brakes ?

Sorry, I should have said. Yes, it has traction control and is a sedan with standard setup apart from the front slots.

The hoses for these in Goodridge are about $360 for a full set.The rear hoses and fittings making up the costing .Although you may not use the car for racing the Goodridge hoses can also be used for racing as well unlike some other brands. We can also supply std size hoses in braided from PBR for $300 a full set for std brakes.

YES they are Goodridge fronts. The rears are where the costing is because of the different angles/fittings and brackets needed.

Sorry to dig up an old thread. I was wondering if I could get a price on a set of braided hoses for my BA XR6T. I have the slightly bigger BF front calipers and BA rears.

Thanks
Joel

They are road worthy and the goodridge lines have from my point of view a better sleeve and collar around the crimp. Some braided hoses have a thick bulky rubber sleeve that has been known to melt when extremely hot from the track.Freight is in a 3kg bag and only costs $12.00
