Is this the Enzo replacement?
Maybe it's just because I've seen it for 5 seconds all up, but I don't think the looks have me sold.
I remember when I was 10 and the Enzo was released, as well as a slew of other hyper cars that year, and you could tell they were something special.
But this? I don't know, it looks like a trying-too-hard-to-be-awesome replacement for the 458.

Looks like a evelution of the one off (Enzo based) Ferrari P4/5, its self styled from the 412p...

I never liked the styling of the Enzo, too much function over form. This thing on the other hand has the mix right.
I'll call it the F 70 though.

I do like it, a lot but something keeps drawing me to the McLaren P1
Nothing wrong with the Ferrari (except the name) just prefer the McLaren.

McLaren tried to topple the new Ferrari and they have failed.

How so? No one has tested them yet back to back.
Both are going to be stellar cars setting benchmarks in all areas.

So, both have been tested on and off the track to thoroughly assess the performance between them?

Bit rich saying the Mclaren has failed, isn't it?

The Ferrari has more hp, more torque, weighs less and looks better.
I call that a failure.

I think finding a driver to get the most out of each car during a comparison is going to be the difficult part.

VW owning Lamborghini doesn't mean anything.
They're still built and designed by Italians.
