Default who has the quickest 5.0l EB-ED

I have a fairly quick standed short block ED xr8 and want to know if there is anyone else running an EFI EB-AU that has gotten into the 11's or the 10's and who is the quickest. On the week end I ran an 11.10 @ 121.6mph at the willow bank Tin Top titles with a 100hp shot of NOS and have gone 12.02 @ 111.8mph N/A. I hope to have this in the 11.8's N/A and 10.8- 10.9"s by the winternationals.

At the moment, with a standard bottom end i think Brett is the man.

Well I will be having a run tomorrow, perfect timing for that question. Im hoping just to nudge a 13. Next step will be either 3.9's or 4.11's. Heads are stock e7's, basically unopened motor bar the manifold. Will be going a set of AFR heads, dont know what size yet as Im unsure of what I want out of the motor yet. I am contemplating an aftermarket block 347 stroker and winding the blower up to 15 psi, or maybe seeing if I can destroy the stock block instead.

Have taken it once down, 14.49 with a slipping auto. Auto has been rebuilt so hoping for a better time.

Im sure though, EBXR8240 has dibbs on most of us, wonder what it would do with a good set of slicks.

with anything bigger then the AFR165 the valve notches in the piston may need enlarging on the stock pistons. This wont need to be done with Trick Flow twisted wedge heads

Yeh ebxr8240 has me on MHP

Its blooody traction...
One day I'll get e/t and mph right .. So far its fast mph low E/T or reasonable E/T and slow MPH... Apart from my driving the original 3550 gear lever mechanism isn't good, its converted to TKO600.. The clutch pedal is very long since twin plate fitted..
I can't slam from 1st to 2nd as clutch seems to grab and I have to pull HARD to get it out of gear!! I'd love to fit a powerglide in there for a couple of runs!!! Tony Dominello nearly talked me into it... Its the front brakes thats preventing me from fitting X plies all round..Run with street M/T's...
My son will be there very soon with his C4 Dominello manual 3000 converter and decent 28" slicks ...Will be interesting in his EB / AU T04Z turbo Fairmont..

This sounds interesting let everyone know how it goes. What track do you go to.

Do you know if anyone in Oz has ran a 10 in an EB-AU v8 or what about in the 11's for N/A combo's.

I could run a 10 using a 150shot but I like N/A power as well so before the winternationals at willowbank i'am going to do some port work on my AFR165's I hope to pic up about 20cfm this should get me in the 11' N/A and 10's with the 100 shot

Cant find the details right this minute, but Bob Kotmel in Stage Write in Street MAchine often talks about Stuey Fenner ED XR8, I believe it is a trickflow top end 347, auto (4spd convertor?) with 3.89s high 11's on street tyres from memory.

No times mentioned here?

Isnt it good to read about Drag racing results in their local paper. All we get in Vic. is about illegal street racing and hooning.

I had a pretty quick stock/unopened 5.0 that did 14.1@97 at the Kwinana motorplex in '04

ED Sprint, base timing advanced 4 degrees, k&n, U98, otherwise unopened 130,000km old 5.0

It's a 5 speed, I tried the bag of ice on intake (no effect) and had 3.45 instead of 3.27 gears.
