In the user cp, theres a counter of referrals... Always wondered what that was?

Hey mate,
A "referral" is someone who was referred to AFF by you. For example, let's say you told your best mate about FordForums.com.au and he should come check it out and join. He then signs up and puts your username as his "referral", because it was you who encouraged him to join. If this was the case your referral counter would say 1. Or 2 or 3, depending on how many friends you get to join. On some websites if you refer enough people to the site you get perks but i'm not to sure about AFF. |

When you suggest the site to a friend, and they enter your username in the appropriate section.
Then it shows on your profile as 1 referral.
