There is this absololutly annoying "clicking noise" when i drive. it appears to be coming from the left front wheel. when i accelerate it doesnt appear to be there but when foot off the accelerater there is an annoying clicking noise, clicks about every rotation or two of the wheel. Could something be stuck in the airbox maybe? as its close to the left wheel or could it be the wheel itself? i wouldnt have a clue on how to fix this problem but its getting very annoying. any help on what it could be?

Sounds like it could be a few things:
1. Stone/nail/screw stuck in tyre tread 2. Stone stuck in brake caliper and dragging on disc (you say annoying clicking, so I doubt this one) 3. Loose wheel nut(s) 4. Dead wheel bearings I'm leaning towards 1 or 4.

Yeah, I agree with JCXR8 could be something in the tyre or foreign object near rotor, Stick,twig? Wheel bearings in the AU's are sealed units and usually give a constant groan noise when stuffed.

Have you had wheels balanced recently could be a wheel weight that might be rubbing or has lifted.

Might not be the wheel at all. Could be the purge canister solenoid?? But the solenoid would click when parked too. Louder when you take the foot off the accelerator. It's located behind the front headlight and under the airbox. Common problem with AU.
