hey guys, the stereo in my au1 xr6 is broken the power button has been pushed to hard and has cracked the board behind it, is there a another way to turn it on? or has anyone got one laying around they wanna sell? wreckers want $295 i'm not paying that much, i'm only just keeping up with the car payments..lol

sounds like a good excude to upgrade to a mp3 cd player, something semi decent can be had for $2-300. Autobahn sell adaptor plugs that i assume keep the radio buttons working on the steering wheel, id hate to loose them.

tacticz - if it's stuffed, just take it out, pull the front face off and see if you can fix it. It's not like you could cause any damage. If you think $295 from the wreckers is bad - try ford. Around $800 I believe.
