Vibration sounds like when idle the RPM is too low. Is your KH carb or EFI?

Mine is the same, I blame engine mounts (apparently one has sagged) but I've never gotten around to doing anything about it. My car is auto and I put it into neutral at the lights. The engine mounts are very very expensive, at least for the 1.8.

Engine mount for the B8 will be around the $100 mark, is worth doing, longer you leave it the more problems that will arise.

I recall Ford wanted as much as $170, and Repco was only a bit cheaper.
