Default Resales dive deep.

Look in the back of the latest wheels magazine at the resale value of some falcon models. Between 40-48%! Even the XR's and the Territories are struggling. Same for Holden, combined with new model thats very imminent.

Compare to a Feb 2003 where resales were 50%-68% .

As fuel prices soar, resales may plummet further, as 2nd hand car buyers shun Falcadors and turn to mid sizers like the Mazda 6. Also rising cost of fuel means people put off new or 2nd hand vechical upgrades.

Might be of interest.
