I have been reading in a few different threads about some bad experiences with ford dealerships. I think we should list the good dealerships to support them and people wanting to by a ford would benefit too.
So name the Good dealers and your area. unfortunately i am unable to contribute. |

City Ford in Melbourne, well their spare parts division at least. Best pricing I could find at a Ford dealer and were actually helpful.

Morley Ford in Echuca, even though I brought a used car off them (and not a Ford), they went out of there way to help me.
Have been looking recently at purchasing another car and went back to them without hesitation... very helpful and great to deal with

Etheridge Ford in Ringwood are excellent...
I have had two new cars through them as fleet cars and regret not buying my last car there. Got sucked in by a salesperson at Sam Gould Ford in Lilydale. Which I certainly don't recommend. Actually during the problems I had with Sam Gould I had phoonfan (from etheridge) help me out on here, even though I didn't buy the car from him or his dealership. Also my dad just purchased a used BF from them last week and he can't praise them enough. And after being ripped off for servicing from Strapp Ford in Burwood I will be going back to Etheridge who have always provided great service with servicing!! (Just was a pity they closed the vermont dealership). |

He should have seen it as an opportunity to make a sale, obviously you were interested in getting something if you bothered visiting two dealerships in quick succession. That's how I would be thinking anyway if I were a salesman... but what would I know...

hey guys i have to say i had some issues with my TS50 and took it to numerous sydney dealers (ford of course) all of which told me numerous stories, apparently fixed the problem and didnt, and charged like a wounded bull!
Took the car to winford motors in windsor and they treated me like gold, fixed the problem and was reasonable with price, i would recomend them anytime, and i will be purchasing my FG off them as they were second to none in the servicing of my TS50. |

It seems then that Ford dealers just hate me then. Dominelli at Sutherland was a big factor in me deciding NOT to get another new Ford. Both my wife and I were continually frustrated no end by the abhorrent service we got there to the point that after the final straw I threw a tanty in the service reception in front of a room full of other customers (two followed me outside and offerred me their cars or other assistance). The last two services of the BA were undertaken at City Ford Arncliffe which is much more out of the way for me but they were ok, but still nothing on great service from Subaru (Tynan's Sutherland) and Mini/BMW (Trivett Parramatta) - although every Mini/BMW dealer I have been in contact with have been outstanding)
And Gregory's ACT, they delivered the BA. They would not give me the time of day with the BA, wouldn't let me test drive, told me to 'look it up on the net' and when I picked it up, just pointed to it and gave me then keys - vastly different to when I picked up the Subie, my first new car - Hyundai years ago. The full production that was the Mini delivery (more like experience) is in another league altogether. Back on topic, good Ford dealers - um maybe Southern Ford in Goulburn. Ok ones -City Ford Arncliffe. That's all I got unfortunately. I love my Fords, but doubt I wiill ever buy a new one again, and will stick with ones I can take care of myself.

NewOak Ford in Oakliegh very good their service shed (that is all it is ) off Wellington rd. 1st Class. For Parts, Bayfords in Campbellfield. They have everything. Quick, polite, cheap(ish) they are genuine parts after all.

the chick is just clueless and tried to take us for a ride but didn't realise that we had bought another car exactly the same no more than one month ago. for parts city ford, be nice and you should get trade prices. don't appreciate the sales guys too much. for cars jefferson in melbourne (just check the second hand stuff they get a bit of x-rental thru the door) etheridge in ringwood for service the footscray dealer can't remeber the name now etheridge in vermont now closed though used these two a few years ago now were prompt very nice and didn't try to sell you something that you didn't need. i would not recomend westpoint ford, the parts are way over priced, the service dep is well less said the better and the sales guys are very average with very poor finance too boot.
