Is there going to be any consideration for the Clipsal 500 on the Sat? Perhaps aim to be somewhere around race start time?

Nice to see a drive component added for this year.

Just as a heads up for this weekend’s all Ford Day at Jackson Ford, there will be a cruise after the show. We are looking at finishing the show up at around 2pm and around 230pm we will head off on a cruise around some local roads for about an hour or so drive.

The route will travel from Devonport through to Sheffield we will stop in behind the RSL where we can stop for a coffee/drink. And then we plan to head back to Spreyton/Devonport via Railton where we will finish up at the High Tide restaurant car park.

Unfortunately we couldn't secure a place to watch Clipsal. Open for suggestions though!

I just want to pass on a quick thanks to those that came along yesterday, I think it was a reasonable success. It was the first time we have done the cruise afterwards, but those that went on it I think enjoyed the drive and it's probably something that we can continue.

I know Jackson Ford would like to see the day continue and grow so if any one has any ideas or feedback let us know an we will see what we can do.

Why do they hold these days when a major car event is on. They do it everytime. Thats why they dont get a big turnout. They even held one on grand final day at cooee one year.

That was noted this year by a few of us too. But in Jackson defence they have always tried to hold it on the last weekend in Feb. Clipsal was a week or two earlier this year as well.

Would holding the day a little earlier (maybe in January) be a better time? Especially if Powercruise comes back in Feb again and with Motor Millions as well, it creats a fairly busy month.
