just a quick question...
now i know that early EA's never had the high mount rear stop light, or the mark out on the rear screen for one.... just wondering if early NA Fairlanes were the same? reason being, i'd like to put a strip LED stop light in ala NF/NL, but dont want the mark-out in the window for the normal stoplight. replacing the rear screen doesnt bother me to achieve this...lol so anyone know? |

My mum's 1990 NA fairlane has the center stop light, the NA11 I was wrecking earlier this year also had them. I have pictures to prove it if you need them
As for pre 1990 i am not sure

i have a feeling that its only on early series 1.... as nudge said his 89 NA had it.... wonder how i'd go finding one, i'd have a feeling all the usual windscreen suspects would only stock the later one...... |

There's an early one at pick a part with a no stop light. Go down there and cut it out.

That's a pretty cool idea Wayne.
It would definitely be worth a crack if you could source the necessary parts cheap enough.

Thing is the NL/NF one has a window outline too, and when there's no proper outline on the window or there's no window in it look friggen ugly.
Unless of course you get some custom sticker made ala NF/NL. Sundeep |

intend to use the NL rear window top trim, light cover and light as well.. i'd rather use a new screen if possible, will check with the windscreen place near work next week... otherwise pulling one out of a wreck might be the only option Last edited by LUXO_8; 10-06-2007 at 01:35 PM. |
