Default Shell "V power racing" fuel. Where can you get it???

All of the shell servo's around my way (Mornington Peninsula) that normally stock Vpower racing are all out of stock.
Anyone seen any lately??????

Yeah that's the thing. Often the servos that say they have V-Power Racing often have "out of order" on the V-Power Racing nozzle

Whats the story with v-power fuel, the people that work in the shell servo in my town are all wearing v-power t-shirts and i asked them what it was all about and none of them could tell me they just said it was a promotion about some new fuel they were going to be getting, i asked if was a high octane as i remember reading a while back about a shell 100 octane unleaded the reply was dont know nothing just have to wear the t-shirt, maybe they werent allowed to say anything i dont know, can someone comfirm this as there will be alot of people in my town that would be happy if this is true

Yes the V-power "racing" is 100 octane, only available at a few selected servos and is up to 10c/litre dearer than "normal" V-power 98 octane. From what I understand the "racing" V-power is 98 octane with 5% Ethanol added to give it the extra octane rating and also to make out that it's an environmentally friendly "green" fuel. The V8 Supercars are apparently using it this year.

Well, I emailed shell, This is the reply.

Shell Racing Fuel 100 is now an obsolete product. I do not believe that there will be any
stock left, but you could try Rolling Bearings in Laverton North on 03 9314 2555, or Haddad
Race Cars and Engines in Dandenong on 03 9794 6599.

Is that for V-Power racing or 100ron racing fuel. Sounds more like a special 'race use only' fuel not V-Power racing

As a rule of thumb :-

-95RON PULPs are 6c/litre more than ULP
-98RON PULPs are 10c/litre more than ULP
-100RON V-Power Racing is 17c/litre more than ULP
