Default She's a bit chilly :)

That was 8AM yesterday, the windscreen wipers where also frozen to the windscreen.

Who said we don't need heated mirrors here in Australia?

That's awesome. remember these cars are all over europe where they get this or worse nearly everyday during winter...I would be worried if things didn't work.

We have heated mirrors? lol ours has the window frozen almost every morning this time of year, heated mirrors don't help unfreeze the windows and squirter's. Pain in the *** backing out of the driveway first thing in the morning. You soon appreciate how quickly the little motor warms up so you can get some heater action, that's for sure. Anything bad you can say about the aircon is well and truly offset by the speed and strength of the heater imho!

WS has heated door mirrors and yes on the heater, unfortunately the aircon sucks, but I don't exactly need it during these months

On winter mornings I let the cars idle for a good 20 minutes with the heater cranked and the headlights on before I leave though, so when i get in the car, there is no ice on the windows, the car is nice and warm inside and no ice on the headlights.

Yes I haven't matched that, in fact my Avocado trees still show plenty of scars and damage from that day where I got to 47c ? so I hope I don't see 51c any time soon. Never would be even better. But have you beaten me in total temperature range. We've had the car from -3 to +47c

I've just returned from Country Victoria, Benalla/Winton to be precise (-5 to +4C). Man this is a cold place in Winter. Glad I had Heated Mirrors too.

Bad for the motor though to be idling cold for 20 minutes...

Nope. Probably 2 to +51, and it wasn't really 51 that day. The car was parked in the sun, and it was "only" about 42C.

Even worse for the motor when it rolls under the firewall in a crash because I couldn't see out the windscreen
