Default Tomago Show and Shine

The Falcon GT Car Club of Newcastle is holding a Show & Shine day at Club Tomago on Sunday 20 August 2006 with proceeds from entries and the Charity Auction being donated to Camp Quality.
Set up time is from 7:30 am
Gates to public open 9:00ama
Cost is $10.00 prepaid or $15.00 on the day.
From all reports of the people who have gone before from the club it is great day so lets start to get a list of people interested in going to this event.
We also would like to see if there is any interest out there on going up the day before and staying as a group at one the motels in the area.

Hi Guys,

I will be attending this show but will be driving up early Sunday morning. I have already sent in my Entry Form.

The Club had a pretty good attendance last year. I have been the last 2 years and it is a very good event.

Anyone who wants an Entry Form, PM me and I will email it to you in Word.

Ciao - James

OK guys, lets see if we can get some more cars coming along to this event. Really good event - looks as though they will be getting record entries this year so get your entries in ASAP.

My suggestion for meeting and the cruise to Tomago - it takes about 2 hours to get there.

Meet at Maccas Thornleigh at 6am for 6.15am departure. This give us plenty of time to drive up and set up for the show.

Ciao - James

Hi Stretch - good to see the numbers building up for the day. Karen said that they already had 87 confirmed pre entries and will have space for 400 cars if required.

Ciao - James

good to see the number climbing - long range weather forecast if for a fine and sunny day.

Be great to catch up with a few of the members.

Thanks to everyone who came up for the show. It was an early start but I thought it was good day.
For those who left early the real entertainment started out the front as people were leaving. Not a good place for non smokers.LOL

How true - great day, great weather - great time. There seemed to be more people outside watching the cars smoke off down the road, they were there in the hundreds - sometimes you do wonder where the police are - irresponsible actions like this can put a stop to the show in future years.

Ciao - James
