Default AU instrument cluster replacement

I've got an AUIII Futura 4.0 and I want to fit a Fairmont instrument cluster. My local wreckers has one from a 98 Fairmont.

Does anyone know if it will work in my car or does it need to be from a series III also? I know I need to change the oil sensor to get an oil pressure reading. Is there anything else I need to be aware of to make it work?

A series 1 cluster won't work in a series 3 car, they are wired differently. I'm not even sure you can put a high series dash into a low series car without some dramas but others will know alot more about that.

less drama fitting an XR cluster but not S1 they are different to S2/3 there is one extra plug you will need to get of the donor car and I have the pinouts and the info on what wires need moving to the extra plug just PM me your email address and I'll send it to you
