Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone can give some advice. I have now managed to pull the starter motor out and put it back however, i feel i may have to do it again in the future. It took me about 4 hours and it was very painful to get my hands in to undo the top mounting bolt. I removed the 2 mounting bolts from under the car. I am sure there is an easier way of doing it but i couldn't find it. Cheers, Rhys

The easier is to remove top bolt first with a small ring spanner, you just crack the bolt lose and remove with fingers,to reinstall fit lower bolt fist and just nip it up not to tight and then screw top bolt with fingers and tighten,15 minuets tops, motor cold.

1/4" drive ratchet, 6" extension (may need a longer one depending on what brand starter) and a 13mm socket

I heard a noise out front of my place one night ... looked outside and this little black bugger was running down the street with my starter motor under his arm. I'd only jusy got home and parked the car there less than 10 mins earlier!
