Default Timing belt and power steering hose

Hi,

I have a 98 Mondeo 5 door hatch, clocked 200k (got it when it had done 160k).

The power steering hose and timing belt need changing.. any ideas as to bet place to get it done (Carnegie, VIC area) and an estimate on how much it will cost??

And a novice question but how important is it to get the timing belt changed??

Much appreciated

Khan

very important. if it breaks, it may kill the whole motor, especially if pistons hit valves....

sorry i can't help on where to get it done though. but get it done as soon as possible....
