Default AU 0-100 times?

hey guys

just wondering what some of you guys have managed to achieve with the acceleration dashes in your AUs.. would prefer figures from stockies (of all models) but mods will be interesting too..
post away! i THINK i read the "rating" is something like 8s which sounds slowww.. i think BA does it in mid to low 7s?

One of the road tests at the time claimed 5.97 0-100 from a manual AU111 pursuit250 and 6.84 from the auto.

Yeah AU II/III was like 8.32s.

Interesting enough, i have never tried to time mine, but surely it doesn't take that long?

Doesn't feel that long anyway

Yep, it does take that long, but VT/VX commodore was around 8.5, so pretty line ball.

Try here for a full list (though most would be modded in some way):

Mine recorded 5.7, numerous 5.8s and a few 5.9s with an average of between 6 and 6.2 (wheel spun on launch). Times all done on G-Tech.

For those that dont know..
Mods-
Rebuilt T5-zspec box (different ratios to normal T5)
Rebuilt LSD diff 3.7 ratio.
lightened flywheel, brass button clutch.
3inch highflow cat, 3inch mandrel bent exhaust, 3inch mandrel bent intake.
Kingsprings.

Times were done with 18in mags with GT 328 tyres.

Haven't timed it with the new cam, but it pulls like something that pulls hard lol.

an old wheels magazine i have lying around...december 2001 states it can do it in 8.7seconds for the AU forte series 2/3. Seems about right when i give my AU its monthly cobweb cleaning!
