They were designed and built by a guy in Canberra, who has since closed up shop. Only way to get one now would be to borrow one from soneone who has one, and take a mold of it.

The other option is to go to your local fibreglass fabricator and ask them for a quote on marrying up an AU upper and VX GTS lower bar (that's what the brumby is).

Hmmm. there was a shop, Canberra Car Styling but theyve closed, I know for a fact that Newgel in Fyshwick canberra brought the moulds and will still make them.

Thanks all!! I think I may try Newgel and see how much to ship down to Melbourne. The au in the pics is where I actually got the idea from as I want the driving lights put in but didn't want to get the TS50 front bar.

VT GTS ;)

the VX kits are a bit more sharper and look a lot better i reckon. at least when you see them stuck on VR's and VS's

A very clever man did. It's actually a cross between VT and VX GTS, just missing the middle section of the "mouth" that the Holdens got. Most Holden people wouldn't pick it because it's missing the middle upright; in fact, I'd bet they'd argue until they were blue in the face that there's no way that could be from a Holden!

The good thing about this is that it's actually fibreglass based on a Holden bar. ie No Holden bar has actually made it anywhere near a falcon!

I guess some of us Ford owners are secure enough not to be concerned what other people think ;)

It isn't a mod; it is a safety feature to put fog lights in before the onset of a foggy winter. Also it is instead of a radiator service as it will "help" more air pass through the radiator... Should I quit now

When I was looking around for a front bar, the Brumby bar was the only one (that I could find) that didn't require a full body kit without looking out of place.

It sits a bit lower than the side skirts but it's not really noticeable.

hate to be a PITA but i was a bit of a holden fan boy around that era :togo:

VX GTS:

VT GTS:

yes, the middle post is removed on the VT bar which is the brumby bar. plus the grooves around the "mouth" are filled in.

just to clear anything up incase a holden fan boy has a go at you about the bumper :togo:

on that note, i reckon the VX HSV's are still a horny lookin car.....

Exactly!! Don't want to go the full kit. Hope you don't mind, but your car was my inspiration for looking around for the Brumby (this mum is in mod mode LOL)!! :
