Hi guys,
Noticed this recently added as a dealer fitted accessory. What are your thoughts? Anyone had it installed yet? http://www.ford.com.au/cars/focus/ac...81248910999495 Also wonder why its for the LW2, as the LW is pretty much exactly the same. |

They appear to be a specific installation for the Focus, put out by this company. Might be an idea to call them to find out about suitability for the LW model. Note that specific models have the lights angled so they shine forward, allowing for the curvature of the bumper or grille where they are fitted. The much cheaper universal units they have would not be suitable in this case.
I have the Strike R1 (round model) installed in my FG Falcon replacing the foglights, which have been on my car for over 12 months now with no problems, and work well. (Installation details in the Technical Resources section) |

There are soo many cars on the road today. That have factory and after market fitted LED / DLR's, so I wouldn't think the police would even be bothered to stop each an every one of them. I haven't been pulled over yet, but I know I'd just have to show my manual and say it's an actual feature of the car.
I do have to say, that is one nice looking Focus!

It seemed expensive, so decided to go with echomaster. http://www.echomaster.com/index.php/...s-drl-10foc-mt There is a discount running at the moment which makes it $200 inc shippping. Once it arrives, i'll install it and post up some pics From the instructions, it looks pretty easy to install even for a novice like myself. |

Well I got the echomaster drl, but have no idea how to install them :(
Does anyone have any suggestions on where I can go to get them installed? Ford Dealer is an option, but I'd think they would charge an arm and a leg. |

Hey guys,
I recently bought these http://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/CvMzyz6 Anyone have a wiring diagram? I'd like to tap into the headlight wiring loom and fuse box for power. Since I don't have a read wiper could I use fuse F42 (15A)? I need to be able to get the low beam signal so that my DRLs turn off/dim to make them legal in VIC.

Just plugged into the headlight wiring loom using ferrules so can remove it all easily if I want to return to stock. Very happy with it.
