Hi all,
Sorry if this is the wrong section but I was wondering if anyone could recommend a place that does a good job of painting calipers in Melbourne? They are brand new off the car and I want them done properly (IE not sprayed on the car). Thanks |

Why not do it yourself?
It's extremely easy, especially in your case if they are off the car, brand new with no brake dust, or dirt. Just buy a spray can of Caliper paint for appromixately $20 from Autobarn or Supercheap, and also a spray can of Caliper Clear coat. The Caliper paint dries very quickly, and you could have the job done in less than an hour and $40. Otherwise if you want them done professionally .... Your local Panel shop will do them for you in no time. |

Even better if they are off the car.
Save a bundle of dollar doing it yourself. Wax n grease remover, tape and cover any sensitive bits and paint Dry in the sun being winter Once installed, normal operation of heating up will cure the the paint. Otherwise First google search http://www.easycalipers.com/

I done mine a couple of weeks ago and they were dirty after the first drive in the rain anyway. I only did mine black as they are too hard to keep clean.
I also painted the disks as they were new, wire brush and wax and grease remover first.
