I think "Mr Tesla" (Elon Musk) is behind this technology?

The dream of the Rocketeer. Bringing them back, filling them up with fuel and off we go again. Imagine if cars where like rockets. Use 1 tank of petrol and then you have to buy a new car.

He sure is.
It's an amazing feat really, although the first two attempts failed, but if this works the majority of the time, the cost savings are massive, which is what is holding space exploration back at the moment. Bring on mining Asteroids!

Anyone can make a rocket go up...making one come back down and land vertically is a simply staggeringly huge challenge. Well done!!

No, I think landing on a comet trumps this.
Or photographing Pluto Still quite a feat though

Im thinking more about the cost savings this can make. Puts a lot more missions on the table and opens the door for???? Well just about anything.

Question is, now that we can create craft that can take off and land, emm erect, will that be enough for the Vulcans to come prematurely for first contact???

Moby, I hope to be heading out your way within a couple of years. As you may suspect, I am a true believer.
I follow all the launches and landings. As you probably know, there is a big bunch of folk who try to convince you, this is all CGI = fake. Unfortunately, most of those folk come from your neck of the woods (aka USA). With you bro, most of these dudes have never seen a star/Moon, they are glued to their monitors.
